Our team is getting bigger and bigger. We would like to introduce you to three more professionals on Bold’s team from various technical backgrounds. One of them comes to us after carrying out tasks at his previous post in which he developed hardware and software for electric mobility. Another teammate also comes from the e-mobility sector as he brings with him experience in developing electric mopeds. Lastly, another new member will be making his move from multiple car manufacturer backgrounds in various well-known OEM’s to Bold. The one thing they all have in common is they share our vision to radically unleash electrification with highly optimized energy storage systems and lightweight structures. While they all value their previous experiences, they are ready to move onto new initiatives and use their know-how in the environment Bold has brought about in order for innovation and change to take place. Just as Bold’s solutions are not limited to one sector, they too possess skills that can be applied across a range of fields to make our clients’ ideas a reality.

Albert Parera

Albert Parera

A native to Barcelona, Albert first got interested in Mechanical Design and studied Mechanical Engineering at UPC in his birth city. He formed part of the Formula Student program for 2 years, which gave him an up-close look at the world of motorsport. Before joining Bold as a Design Engineer, he spent 4 good years in a startup that manufactures electric motorbikes – Silence. With his previous work experience and training, he became quite familiar with 3D Mechanical Design. All this experience is being put to good use on Bold’s project to create our own battery. You may say he has a penchant for young companies with a promising future which is what drew him to become a Bold employee. As he says, “There is so much to explore and discover in the world of Engineering. I’m really keen on ambitious projects that aim high since you learn so much along the way.”

Nacho Eguia

Nacho Eguia

Nacho comes to Barcelona from Seville, in Andalucia. He studied Industrial Design in his home city. In all, he has over seven years under his belt in industries such as automotive, electronics and products for mass consumption. Some projects he worked on were for product development for companies like LG, Valeo, Seat, Audi and even McLaren. Currently, he is a Composite Design Engineer in Bold. What lured him to Bold was a chance to work in a leading company on composites for supercars and motorsport. Furthermore, Bold’s present growth spurt makes the learning curve is greater than any other company.  In fact, he commented that it is thrilling to be part of the projects in the world of F1. When asked about his place in Bold now and in the future, he even sees himself contributing to other projects in the pipeline, such as the making of Bold’s own line of batteries.

Juan Miechi

Juan Miechi

Bold Valuable Tech not only has an international portfolio of clients, but our team is also made up of professionals from around the globe. Such is true with our new teammate, Juan Miechi. He started out studying Mechanical Engineering in his home country, Argentina. He later had a stint designing prototype race cars in England, followed by 3 years in Milan designing touring cars. From there, he gained 4 years of experience working on F1 cars for Ferrari. Some of his expertise went towards the car’s suspension to the aerodynamics in a wind tunnel. At present, Miechi is part of our Mechanical design engineer team. What piqued his interest in Bold was actually the passion transmitted to him by our fellow colleagues in the interview process. Juan remembers, “It was through their pure enthusiasm, I sensed a certain company dynamic that told me it was just what I was looking for.” Like birds of a feather, Juan too is passionate about his work and is a vivacious problem solver. Surely, his varied experience on different categories of cars will be a great asset to Bold’s future designs. It is also clear that his international experience will further broaden Bold’s own perspective.

Feeling fortunate

Bold Valuable Tech is counting our lucky stars as our team continues to grow with passionate professionals like Albert, Nacho and Juan. While our excitement swells with our new additions, we must also give credit to the veteran team members who make for a seamless inclusion onto the team. It is this harmonious atmosphere with never-ending support and cooperation that we feel give Bold an edge to building up to a great future.
